Here is a a copy of the original financial plan. Now this was just a plan, nothing concrete.
Just a way to see what has happened since their first plan was put on paper. I haven’t seen a plan since then, wonder if one exists? How ambitious they were with their plans and their money projections.

Here is a copy of the proposed merit board rules that the Beech Grove fire department wants the city council to adopt. The mayor,city council and board of public safety are to meet July 21 at 7 p.m. in the council chambers on Main street to discuss this. Brian Bosma will be explaining the system. If for some reason someone wants the proposal to go through all 3 readings Monday night, it has to have a unanimous vote in order to proceed.

Here are the claims approved last week by the RDC. Not all invoices are here, but if you see a charge you want to know about contact the mayor, an RDC member(that approved them) or you could contact the clerk treasurer.
Now I have to admit I was wrong about Susan Nelson, she didn’t get $14,000 for 1 month she got $14,000 for 2 months. Sutterfield scored again this month for $2970, the Southside Times for $1340, and Barnes and Thornburgh had some interesting charges about St. Francis.

Here are some of the claims sheets for May 21 and June 4. Total May 21 claims equaled $325211.12. Now this did include payroll. also in this group you can see a couple of things highlighted. The mayor paid for his office remodel from sewage utility operations and the general fund. Sutterfield’s shop received funds from 3 different accounts.

In the June claims there is a payment to Brian Bosma from a fund that I have seldom seen,fund 743 is the Main street revolving loan fund . The total for June 4 is $373502.05 this includes payroll.

Grand total for claims $698713.17
I am not sure what the city has been able to collect from the county but I would think that there may be other bills being paid from the sewage fund. Just a thought.

Here are some letters from Brian Bosma, Elton Geishwiler, and some others about conditions at the landfill site. What is most interesting to me is the dates of these. It looks like the comprehensive plan was presented in April of this year, before the council accepted it.
Read carefully before you comment, or read carefully before you call the mayor or your council people.

Here is one of the invoices from B&T. The other is for the standard $3500 monthly lobbying fee.
This one is interesting to me by the remarks for the following dates;
03/13/08-St. Francis financing
03/18/08 & 03/19/08-Mike Shaver and Group B parcels( Mike said more than once in the last group of workshops he didn’t know anything about the residential properties put in Group B, this note makes me wonder.)
03/24/08 & 03/27/08- Again St. Francis financing
